I am Swati Garg, a homemaker, homebaker and a now a mompreneur. I never thought in my life that I would ever start something of my own. But, destiny planned it this way. With an MBA degree in HR, I was associated with Standard Chartered Bank for a couple of years. I left my job when I got married. Soon, I got busy with new responsibilities and duties. Within 1 and 1/2 years of marriage, I became a mother of a baby girl. In fact, now I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters, and to be very frank, my life is dedicated totally towards them. I enjoy being with them and there are no regrets of leaving a professional career just before my marriage.
I always had a fascination for baking, especially when it comes to making eggless varieties with no artificial preservatives. My husband once asked me to make an Italian cake at home on his birthday. I made an effort to make this cake for my husband and it turned out to be really very good, both in terms of looks and tastes. And needless to say, my husband loved it and appreciated me for this gesture. I then realized that if I can prepare an Italian cake without much expertise, I can definitely be a better baker if I learn the art seriously.
So, I started joining in baking and chocolate making classes. It was my friend Tapsi who forced me to start making cakes and chocolates for selling purpose. And my husband was always there for me…my rock support.
Launch of Truffles Delight
In 2015, I started my own brand Truffles Delight in my own home, offering wide varieties of cakes and chocolates. I do all kinds of cakes, chocolates, pies n tarts, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, tea cakes. I take customized orders for special occasions. All my cakes and chocolates are purely homemade, made with natural ingredients for kids and everyone, with no external help. I do only and only eggless products which are preservative-free and chemical-free, and this is the main USP of my baking items.
