I am Vidhu Thareja, born and brought up in Delhi, now settled in Noida with my parents. I did my masters in Hindi from Delhi university. Started my professional journey as a freelance translator and have worked with many reputed publications. Besides that, I have many years of experience of working in the insurance sector also, but due to some personal reasons, I left my job. It is said that everything happens for a reason and for some good. 

How did I start?

After leaving the job, I got an offer from a leading thread manufacturing company Madura coats Private Ltd. to work as a craft consultant for their school activities. It was a turning point in my life when I got a chance to work with reputed schools of Delhi-NCR. It gave me confidence and introduced me to hidden talent and crafter inside me. I started doing DIY projects and decided to take it to professional level. Although initially, it was a little difficult to find the right person to learn from. Luckily I found Mrs. Ruchi Gupta and she gave wings to my creativity.

Launch of Vidhu's Crafts

In 2015, I launched my home business as a crafter. It's more than four years now when I launched my dream venture Vidhu's craft. Today,  I am a fulltime crafter. I specialize in decoupage and sospeso. I believe that learning never stops so keeps on exploring other art forms.  My mother is my biggest inspiration and support. I deal in customized and personalized gifts and home decor products. I strongly believe in quality and excellente service. 

Words of advice 

 All I wanted to say to upcoming crafters that whatever you do, do it with love and passion, follow others but make your own style statement. Be confident but never be over-confident. Share your knowledge, that is what makes you grow.
